Why This Is Not a Diagnosis
15 Jul 2026
A commanding bar is a reason to pay closer attention. It is not evidence that you have a condition, and no inquiry on this site can detect, screen for, or rule one out.
The published instruments
The PHQ-9 asks about low mood, sleep, appetite, energy, and related difficulties over the past two weeks. The GAD-7 asks about worry, restlessness, and trouble relaxing over the same two weeks.
They are scored exactly as their authors specify. A band is a prompt to talk with a clinician if the score concerns you. It is not a clinical note and it is not an identity.
The original inquiries
Autism traits, ADHD patterns, bipolar patterns, BPD traits, trauma and stress, and narcissism traits were written for this site. They are not the copyrighted questionnaires used in clinics, and they cannot detect, screen for, or rule out any condition. A reading there describes a cluster in your answers: the effort social contact costs you, a focus that travels, a driven stretch, the fear of losing people, the habit of staying on guard, the appetite for admiration.
If the cluster matches a hard season, treat it as a reason to ask a qualified person. Do not treat the page as the person.
If you might act on it
If you might act on thoughts of suicide, or you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 in the US, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 in Australia, or find a helpline for your country at findahelpline.com. Do that before you take another inquiry.
This site is not a medical service. An inquiry can sit beside a real conversation with a clinician. It cannot replace one.
