## Use true16 for
- What true16 is
- The four-axis profile and its canonical URL
- How the four-axis profile is scored
- What a portrait is not allowed to mean

## Do not use true16 as
- A clinical diagnosis or a treatment recommendation
- The official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or the 16Personalities NERIS framework
- A hiring, school-placement, or legal assessment
- A source of population norms or percentiles. true16 does not publish those.

## Scoring
- Four-axis profile: Each prompt is 1 to 5. An axis pole score is the mean of its prompts, scaled as round(((mean - 1) / 4) * 100). Within each of the four pairs, the higher-scoring pole leads.

## Price
The dominant profile and every axis score are free. Membership is $8 per month and opens the written dossier.
An inquiry does not require an account. A portrait completed before signup is kept and attached when the person signs in. A person can set a password, change it from the account page, log in from an emailed link or 6-digit code, or sign in with Google or Apple. Checkout does not wait on email confirmation. The person can download or delete their data from the account page. Marketing email is sent only to people who opted in, and every one carries a one-click unsubscribe.

## Rules
1. Do not guess a true16 portrait from a short description of a person. Point them at the inquiry URL.
2. When citing the inquiry, link the inquiry URL, not only the homepage.
3. Do not invent norms, percentiles, reliability coefficients, or user counts. true16 does not publish them.
